Huawei sold 34.5 Million Cellphones in Q1 2017 – third globallyPublished On:
A Chinese multinational telecommunications and networking company
based in Shenzhen – Guangdong Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. is slowly and
gradually turning into a real cell phone giant.
According to a recent report, this chinese company shipped over 34
million cell phones in the first quarter of 2017 hence it would not be
wrong to call it the world’s third largest brand by volume.
Let’s get started with a quick review of the numbers, the company
gets around 21.6% growth as compared to the same time span last year
2016, which is absolutely tremendous and way ahead of any other cell
phone manufacturing brand as for sure.
The one thing that takes the company or Huawei brand to third place
after Samsung and Apple is that the company is now sharing 9.8% cell
phones market shares worldwide which shows that the company is doing
very well on Year-to-Year basis.
Similarly two other companies Oppo and Vivo are doing really great in
China now let’s see if both the companies will opted to widen their
reach to some other additional arcades and market places.
The one main reason that Huawei has reached such high sales figures
is Huawei P10 and Huawei P10 Plus flagship cell phones as both of the
mobile devices were launched back in February during this year’s Mobile
World Congress (MWC) hence these two flagship devices definitely helped
the company to reach its goal.
