Telenor Pakistan has introduced Direct Carrier Billing (DCB) that lets the users buy their favourite Apps and Games on the Google Play Store while using their cellphone credit.
Telenor is delighted in order to have played an important role in bringing financial inclusion for the very first time in the country, with the help of Direct Carrier Billing (DCB) method the need of credit as well as debit card will probably be eliminated as it’s a good initiative taken by the company for its users.
How to activate Direct Carrier Billing Service:
The users will easily be able to activate DCB on their android devices by simply adding “Use Telenor Billing” in the payment procedures of their Google Play Account tariff. The users will then click on “Buy” option on their favourite Google Play’s digital content after the completion of activation process. Afterwards, the users will provide their google account password in order to confirm the purchase.
Refund Policy in case of “Accidental Purchases”:
The Data Carrier Billing service comes with a refund policy or option which is viewable immediately on the purchased Application or Game, that lasts for (2) two hours, and the users will be able to keep full information about their DCB purchase history through “Order History” feature available in their Google Play account menu, this feature will be helpful to prevent accidental purchases.
Telenor users can start paying for their favourite content such as Games and applications through their Cellphone credit from Google Play store straight away as the facility is now available for both Postpaid and Prepaid subscribers.
