Xiaomi sold more than 3 million Mi Max Cellphones so far

The Chinese electronics company, Xiaomi took the wraps off the Mi Max 2 few days back and during the reveal, company also shared the sales numbers of its predecessor.


The Mi Max, which was unveiled by the company in May 2016 has proven to be quite popular among user. Moreover, the company has managed to sell more than three (03) million units of the gadget so far and the most interesting thing is that half of them (1.5 million) units were sold in the first two months (60 Days) since the device was released.


When comes to the latest version from Xiaomi, Due to its 6.44 inch Full HD Display the Mi Max 2 falls into the phablet category which features a massive 5,300 mAh battery that you can get up to 68% (percent) in one hour of charging. The company hopes that its successor will be even more famous.


The device comes with a powerful Snapdragon 625 chipset along with 4 GB of RAM which comes with either 64 or 128 GB of expandable storage. Not only this, but the device is also equipped with a 12 MP primary camera. It also supports a selfie snapper which has a 5MP sensor, an IR blaster and a fingerprint scanner.


The Mi Max 2 runs Android Nougat with Xiaomi’s MIUI 8. The 64 GB version of the cell phone will set you back (around $245) while on the other hand the 128 GB variant will be all yours for (around $290).
